LTspice, LTC2960-1 - Output /RST does not work

Category: Software
Product Number: LTC2960
Software Version: LTspice 24.1.20

Dear Sir or Madam,

our simulation wth the component LTC2960-1 does not work. The /RST output stays on Low level indepently from the level at the input ADJ.

5V-Unterspannungs-Reset LTC2960-1 260210.asc

We use the version 24.1.10 of the program LTspice and the model of the LTC2960-1 from the library.

Best Regards

  • Hi Stefan,

I just tested the simulation, as attached below. The /RST remains low below threshold. however, when you test the LOWBAT only and turn off the VOUT, its shows a rise to high once the the threshold is exceeded. It follows exactly as VOUT.

Did you try testing only the LOWBAT?

  • Dear Tonyuche,

thank you for your feedback. I think your simulation ist the example "LTC2960-1.asc", which is a part of the files of the programm LTspice, version 26.0.1.

If we let run this simulation, we get the same result. The output /RST (red) stay at GND level:

  • Hi stefan,

I have investigated the issue and realized that actually the LOWBAT pulls high when the output is high as shown in the LTSpice simulated results below:

However, the High is in microvolts. This has been reported to the LTSpice team and they will rectify and update the model.

I hope that helps. Let me know if you need any other thing.
