I recently received a PCB back from field use that shows a failure on the EN/UV pin of LT8653S. The device can no longer be turned on using EN/UV. The pin's voltage cannot be raised above 0.7V. The resistance to ground at the failed EN/UV pin is 10kohm.
The board design has a 1Mohm resistor between VIN and EN/UV as per ADI's evaluation board. The VIN is designed to be 24VDC in my application.
Could the failure described above occurred by any mode other than an overvoltage condition, such as 48VDC being applied accidentally?
