LT4322 AC HV 100khz synchronous diode - Low load current regulation

Category: Hardware
Product Number: LT4322

Hi

Have been trying to get the LT4322 to work as a replacment for a schottky diode in a center-tapped rectifier working at 100kHz, working at voltage above 60V, so the depeltion nmos is used.

Using a mosfet with a Cgs of 70nF, so a additional driver and external power is supplied to vdda.

The part is trying to regulate a 25mV drop over transistor at low current loads. changing the voltage with load.

However at low loads the gate voltage is oscillating, pulling down vdda. Something seems to be more difficult when trying to regulate at loads close to 0A.

This not a desirable behavior for the intended use. Giving high switching losses and EMI issues at low current loads.

Is there a way around this?

Vgs of mosfet.
