I always keep VDDIO at 3.3V.
The Vin (12V) is not always present (power switch before LT8722 could interrupt this).
There is risk of latch-up?

Hi,
VDDIO can be applied when Vin is not applied. The abs max table says that the VDDIO pin abs max is related to GND, not to the Vin pin. To verify that your application would work with VDDIO first applied before Vin, we recommend you test it out on the demo board, which can be found here: DC3145A Evaluation Board | Analog Devices.
