Dear team,
We are using the LT8228 IC for our power interrupt application. I have shared the simulation file with exact component value as per our schematic. In simulation its operating well and boosts upto 70V output but in real time, fault pin pull down whenever the switching starts and we have captured the DG2 and Fault pin and observed Fault pin may pull down due to DG fault. But I couldn't find the reason for DG2 fall. I have verified all the 6 conditions mentioned in the V2 PROTECTION MOSFET CONTROLLER OPERATION section but noting satisfies DG2 turn off also we could able to verify the point -7 (the part fails the internal diagnostic tests).I have attached the waveform DG1 Vs fault pin at 20VIN. Kindly provide solution to resolve the issue or share the points to the find the reason for DG1 pull down during.
