MAX25207

Thread Summary

The user inquires about using the MAX25207 in a design that requires a 3.6V/11A output during a cold crank input voltage drop from 12V to 4V for 40ms. The final answer suggests that the MAX25207 may not maintain the output voltage under these conditions and recommends testing with the MAX25207 evaluation kit. The user can simulate the cold crank test to verify performance.

HI

I want use MAX25207 in the new design, the power is DC12V---MAX25207 --3.6V/11A. but i need the  Cold Crank  Input Voltage is 4V, it means When the System start, Input Voltage from 12V to 4V,and the time of duration is 40ms. the MAX25207 need out put 3.6V/11A.

MAY I ask ,

1. Can the MAX25207 achieve this function?

2. Could you please tell me how to calculate whether this function can be implemented?

3. Could I simulate CRANK TEST?
