I designed a circuit using the LTM8050 with a +28 V input and a -15 V output. I directly connected the AUX and BIAS pins. However, I heard that when generating a -15 V output, the datasheet requires an additional configuration using a resistor and a Schottky diode.
What happens if this is not implemented?
Also, if a problem occurs, could the 4.7 µF / 100 V capacitor on the 28 V input side be damaged?
