The LT8302/LT8302-3 includes overtemperature protection that is intended to protect the devices during momentary overload conditions.
What's the trip point?
We have a board which will stop working when the package surface temperature of LT8302 measured by a thermocouple exceeds 100C.
We highly suspect that it's protected by overtemperature protection.
