Hello,
We were looking to a current-mode PWM IC to implement a constant-current controlled buck converter (provide constant current to 15A to the load) and we tried to simulate on LTspice the circuit using LT1619 for the current-mode control and taking the output from LT1619 to a half-bridge driver ADuM422a to drive a synchronous buck stage. Unfortunately we couldn't manage to have it working in simulation.
We noticed in the datasheet of LT1619 that it supports topologies such as Boost, flyback, Cuk to drive a low-side power FET, do you think it would support working with Buck topology if proper driving techniques is implmeneted (in this case using an external gate drive)? If not, can you suggest a similar current-mode PWM IC that supports buck converter topology?
Thanks.
