When using LTpowerCAD II v2.7.6, the application crashes when selecting the LTM8025 in Supply Design.
Is there any workaround or solution available for this issue?

Could you please confirm if you have MS Excel installed in your machine? The LTM8025 design tool is only available in excel format and should open externally with MS Excel when selected.
Thank you for your response. I have MS Excel installed.
However, when I open the Excel file related to the LTM8025, I get the following error message:
“Run-time error '57121': Application-defined or object-defined error.”
Due to this error, the file cannot perform any calculations.
How should I deal with this issue?

I was wondering if it may be that MS Excel is preventing some controls / calculations to work? For example, if you could please check the ActiveX settings and if possible to enable them temporarily to run the file? Please see this MS support page for details: ActiveX controls are disabled by default in Microsoft 365 and Office 2024 - Microsoft Support . Note, I believe you may have to close / restart MS Excel after changing the settings for them to take effect.

Regardless of the ActiveX settings, I cannot open the file. I can check Excel files for other parts without any problems, so I think this might be specific to the LTM8025. Is that correct?

Thanks for the reply! Sorry for the inconvenience.
I tried to replicate the error on my side and after I click “End” on the run-time error message box, the excel tool opens automatically. I could access the blue cells in the excel file for user entry, except that I could not select the correct IC (ie. LTM8025) on the chip selection drop down box and access other buttons. But after changing my ActiveX settings, the issue gets resolved for me.
Just for reference attached is a copy of the LTM8025 excel design tool that launched for me.
