Using LTC7000A to drive 4 MOSFET's for my BMS current path. How much of the circuit can be reliably placed off board?

Category: Hardware
Product Number: LTC7000A

Hello,

I am making a BMS for a small product which has minimal PCB space. Therefore I need to stack PCB's on top of eachother. The MOSFET's are acting as a contactor to enable and disable the output voltage fopr the 24V 90A Li-Ion battery pack. This PCB sits on the top stack of cells and is wirebonded (Gold pads) to cell tops which reduces space massivley. I was going to put the CMU board onto this one but I can not make it fit. So I was thinking of putting the switched power path onto here instead as the board required 2oz 4 layer copper to carry the 90A and that allows mw to move the CMU and BMS boards onto 1oz cheaper PCB's above this.

I can not fit my whole schematic on the PCB:

So I was wondering how little I can put onto this power path PCB and keep the control off board to reomove components needed on this thicker copper PCB? I will have a connector between this PCB and the PCB with the control circuit on.

I hope that makes sense! Thanks in advance!
