Hello, I'd like some more explanation about Parallel connection.
In my board I need to create a 28v output of 8A and Inrush of 16A for about 0.1mS (from, 48v input), therefor I took this part in a parallel connection (the LTspice Simulation failed in those conditions for 1 part).
In the Datasheet there is the following Figure(5):
I want some data about both LT8646S pins:
SS - Can I add soft start Capacitor? and which value allowed?
BIAS Pins - both need to be connected after each Inductor?
RT - Both must have resistor of the same value, or 1 and share with both parts?
The second part Mode/Sync pin need to be connected to the first part CLKOUT but what about the first part Mode/Sync pin?
The PG pins how to I use them in my board (take only 1, take both? )

Is the following addition (Design guideline #1+ #2) relevant in my board? Do I have to add 4 Schottky Diodes (2 for each part)? Please advise.
Is the following equation for L still apply in my board:
