Hi everyone, I only need to use one phase of the LTC7871 during calibration.
Can I tie the SNSA+, SNSD+ & SNS- pins together and connect the combined traces to VLOW with a low-RON analog switch (eg ADG5433)?
Many thanks in advance

Hello I.C.,
The LTC7871 can be used with just one phase. But, could you give me more details on your circuit. For instance, do you intend to use all 6 phases during normal operation and use just one in calibration? Why are you using an analog switch?
If you wish to temporarily disable a phase and the LTC7060 is being used, then a phase can be disabled by tying the EN pin of the respective LTC7060 to GND.
Best regards,
Mike
Hi Mike, I read in another thread that to disable the LTC787X's phase, I need to connect the SNSA+, SNSD+, and SNS- pins together with VLOW. Otherwise, if I could just disable the respective MOSFET driver, the schematic would be easier to implement.
thank a lot
