LT8582 +-16V and +-6V output from 12V input possible?

Hi,

I would like to make +-16V a +-6V source from 12V input with LT8582. I made a prototype (see diagram) but I blew up two chips. It worked for a few seconds with correct outputs, then SWA/SWB in negative rail blew up dead short. Positive rail works. I assume it was overvoltage spikes due to imperfect PCB design. But when I did simulation, it show spikes way over 60V even when critical C77-D8 loop inductance is just 5nH. And that is about as little as it can be. Maybe 3nH is realistic, but still the voltage spikes are near 40V. So my question is - can it really work? I have a feeling even with optimal PCB design the whole thing will be on boundary of self-destruction. Datasheet shows examples with 5V input, but does not say if it is viable to operate it from 12V.
