The MAX4864/5/6/7 data sheet suggests that the ADAPTER power input (at the drain of the P-channel MOSFET) should be bypassed to ground with a 1 µF ceramic capacitor. Is it acceptable to locate this bypass capacitor at the IN voltage to the MAX486x (that is, at the common source of the P- and N-channel MOSFETs) instead? I don't immediately see any disadvantages of doing so, but perhaps I'm missing something. Thanks,
