Hello,
I am currently working on a design using the LTC4282 hot swap controller, where the input supply is 24V instead of the typical 12V as shown in the datasheet application example.
I have referred to the datasheet and made necessary adjustments in my schematic to accommodate the 24V input. However, I need assistance with the proper bias resistor values for the following pins:
-
FB (Feedback)
-
UV (Undervoltage Lockout)
-
OV (Overvoltage Lockout)
Attached is the relevant portion of my schematic for reference.
Key Information:
-
Input Voltage: 24V nominal
-
Load current, timing, and power-up configuration are similar to the datasheet example
-
The goal is to set the undervoltage and overvoltage thresholds suitable for a 24V supply (e.g., UV around 20V and OV around 27V)
Could you please review and suggest appropriate resistor divider values for UV, OV, and FB to ensure correct operation at 24V?
I would appreciate a prompt response as this is part of an ongoing hardware development cycle.
