Hi all,
I am reviewing the LT4220 data sheet (Rev. F) and would like to confirm the absolute-maximum rating for the VEE pin.
The table lists “VEE to GND … –22 V”, but no positive value is given.
Page 11 (“Internal Supply Diodes”) states that VEE is clamped one diode above GND.
Question
What is the maximum positive voltage (with respect to GND) that the VEE pin can safely tolerate, even for brief transients?
If possible, please provide:
Whether any positive excursion of VEE above 0 V is formally covered by the LT4220’s absolute-maximum ratings, or if an external clamp is required to guarantee safe operation.
Thank you for your clarification.
Best regards,
Takahiro
