Question about PCB Layout of LT8625S

I would like to ask about PCB layout of LT8625S.

(Situation)

1. In order to get a negative output voltage from LT8625S, I have connected one terminal of an external inductor to "PCB ground".
    Another terminal of the external inductor has been connected to "SW pin" of LT8625S.
    As a result, I have obtained the negative output voltage (about -6V) from "GND pin" of LT8625S.
2. I have inserted about 6V into "PVIN pin" of LT8625S.

(Question)

1. In the above-mentioned situation, could I use the pcb layout in 17/38 page of the datasheet of LT8625S?
    If it is not possible, please share appropriate PCB layout guideline for the above-mentioned use case obtaining negative output voltage from "GND pin" of LT8625S.
