Good morning, I'm trying to drive the LT3080 using a DAC through a differential amplifier like in the picture:

In the simulation it works perfecly, but in reality I have a discontinuity point under 7V where the VOUT goes to max voltage for some reasons. I move the VIN accordingly to respect the MAX 36V difference between VIN and VOUT.
Hi. The LT308X LDOs may behave strangely if SET is driven lower than OUT. Sorry that is not well stated in the datasheets. I talk about that issue in many Engineer Zone posts that are basically listed in this one. If you just clamp OUT to SET with a diode (anode at OUT), you will see that your circuit operates properly.
