I'm currently designing a driver PCB that will drive different LED strings. The design has 4 ICs, some of which are in Boost mode and some in buck mode.
The boost circuit is documented well, but in the buck mode, how do you set the string voltage? The feedback resistor divider network is connected to INTVcc, which outputs 3V.
What would the layout guideline for this topology be, General Buck Converter layout practice recommends keeping the Input capacitor very close to the Vin pin.
Also, can one channel operate in buck mode while the other 3 are in Boost mode?
Finally, the buck circuit shown in the datasheet does not resemble the generic Buck converter circuit
