    Hi,
    

    The datasheet of LTC1751 says that 6V is absolute maximum output voltage. I want to generate 5.5V using this IC with 3.3V as input. Will it be possible that this will give me 5.5V?
    

    I also simulated the circuit in LTSpice there it is showing the output as 5.5V. Please tell if I can proceed with this design.
    

    Any suggestion is appriciated.

      Hello, The LTC1751 can produce 5.5V from 3.3V. The voltage loss from VIN to VOUT ~(2VIN - ROUT*IOUT) might cause VOUT to start dropping out at full load especially if VIN droops or maybe at temperatures.
