    Does this component support top-cooling? If so, what is the compression limit - and please provide θ_JC Top and θ_JC Bottom values?

      I asked our thermal modeling engineer previously for the LT3070 thermal parameters.  There is only one package and this is what he said:
      

       
      

       
      

      “Please refer to the below parameters:
      

        

      1. θJB =      8.3 K/W
        2. 

      2. θJCtop =   26.2 K/W
        3. 

      3. θJCbot =   5.0 K/W
        4. 

      4. Ψjt =      1.8 K/W
        5.
