Under Voltage Lockout in LTM8073

I am using the LTM8073 in one of my designs and trying to confirm whether it includes an Undervoltage Lockout (UVLO) feature. I reviewed the datasheet but couldn’t find explicit information regarding UVLO.

  • Does the LTM8073 have an internal UVLO to protect against low input voltage conditions?
  • If not, what would you recommend for implementing UVLO with the LTM8073?

Additionally, in the evaluation board of LTM8096 (DC2389A), I found a resistor divider circuit connected to the RUN pin with R1 (1M) and R2 (opt). Could you clarify the purpose of this circuit, and if it can be used to adjust UVLO for the LTM8073?

  • The resistor divider in the demo circuit can be used to implement a minimum Vin for your desired application. The bottom resistor should be sized so that the RUN pin receives 1.06V once a user-chosen minimum Vin for the application is applied. The RUN pin will then disable switching activity when the voltage applied to it is less than 0.9 volts.
