Hi ,
I am currently using external watchdog IC ADM6316AY29ARJZ-R7 and interfacing with TI microcontroller .One thing we observed that i was not able to see any WDI pulses when i tap the pin using the logic analyzer. but i cas see the reset puls which (low)when ever maser reset.
In our code we are toggling wdi every 1sec.
experiment also we did from our side like we commented the toggling code and checked whether external watchdog is working or not and observed that microcontroller is resetting.
