I asked this question on the wrong forum so I'm posting it here.
I have the same problem as this thread: Using DC2156A board with DC590B/QuikEval - getting "Cannot load COM module for device". Where can I find the correct file, and what is it called? Thanks! PS: I did find "ins2946.msi" via guesswork, and installed it, but the problem pers
I have downloaded and installed QuiEval for use with a LTC2156 demo board and DC590B controller. I get the same "cannot load COM module for this device" error. I download and installed the ins2946.msi file mentioned in the previous thread but get the same error. I've tried 2 different 2156A boards with the same result. It may be that I haven't been able to correctly uninstall a corrupt version of QuikEval and start from scratch. The normal Windows->Settings->Apps uninstall QuikEval doesn't do anything after I click the button. No response or activity of any kind. All I can do is delete the LTC folder in C:\Program Files. Is there a better way to clean out all the old QuikEval stuff and do a clean install? What else might I be doing wrong?
Thanks
