ADP7182 Adj output voltage with positive power supply

I'm trying to find a way to adjust the ADP7182 directly with a positive power supply (in my case with a DAC). The reason I don't want to use the resistor divider is because I need maximum flexibility and be able to adjust the output anytime. I thought of a potentiometer, but I would like something more precise.

I came up with an idea, see picture attached, that it actually works on LTspice, but I'm not sure if this could end up damaging the chip or create some undesired behaviors that I can't see in the simulation. The resistor divider will set the voltage range at which you'll be able to set the output.

    That should work.

    Notice the absolute rating for the ADJ pin (+0.3V). If the LDO is powered down or output is short circuited, the DAC voltage may damage the chip according to the datasheet (actually there may be an internal ESD diode, that sets that spec. With the 200k resistor between the DAC and ADJ pin, there is probably no problem due to the extremely low current) .
