Hey everyone,
for a LED application I am using a ADP8140 in combination with a LT8334 similar to the examples in the ADP datasheet.
In the following you can see my circuit:

There is a Voltage source of 12V and the ADP is supposed to regulate the output voltage in a range between approximately 22V and 28V to power LEDs with a maximum current of 500mA per Sink.
I built up a similar circuit with a Texas Instruments booster but i wanted to try one from AD as well.
Now the problem is:
1. The booster provides ca. 800mA maximum current befor it "cuts out" which is way below the required 4x500mA (The inductance has a sat current of 10A)
2. There is a quite substential noise in the signal (below you can see the voltage i measured across the resistor right before the LEDs)

Is there a obvious error in my circuit? Where should i start too look to tackle these problems (I assume my ADP works fine as it does so with the other booster)?
All the best
Jordi
