Hello,
I am having problem where the LTC3531-3.3 is draining more current than it is supposed to after a few months in service. My input voltage is coming from a supervisor circuit which output 5V from a DC-DC converter or 3.6V from a battery depending on which is higher.
With a brand new LTC3531-3.3 installed, the current would be a maximum of 50-100uA at 3.6V input. However, after a couple months, the same setup would drain 5-15mA instead. This is causing my battery to deplete faster.
1) What could be causing the LTC3531-3.3 to degrade like this?
2) Does the input capacitor have to be 2.2uF or can it be higher?
