Hi,

I am using VCU118 from Xilinx. There are 4 devices of VT1697SB connected to MAX20751 for VCCINT power supply.

I used a maxim digital power tool to read the power supply.

the maxim digital power tool shows there is no input 12V coming to device and the temperature is also not read.

but I can measure 12V input going to the MAX20751 and also VT1697SB with a multimeter on board.

I want to understand why the maxim power tool is not reading the input? if it is problem with the VT1697SB devices or problem with MAX20751

Hi, Can you provide more information? for example, when you connected the dongle, is there any communication when you were trying to read something? also, please make sure SCL, SDA, GND between IC and dongle are connected correctly and IC sodlering are good. If you use a different dongle, is the issue still there? (if not, then probably, that is dongle's issue)

Hi,

Please see the below snap shot. The address is 0x70 which has an issue. Some how the input 12v seem to be not a problem now.

but still the temperature is not read. this is a slave fault but there are 4 slaves connected it.

Is there any way by which I can isolate the slave which is not working?

Hi, READ_TEMPERATURE_1 returns the highest slave temperature, and from your snapshot, it shows 0, seems it is not reading anything. while "faults" shows green light, that means there is no fault occuring (including master and slave). the slave's temperature is read through TS_FAULTB, so please double check the connection of this signal/pin.
