we have trouble with the startup a a 3526L dcdc converter to create a 1.6V bus from a 1.2V ZnAir cell.
the input current measures about 80mA at 1V, while the output capacitor of 22uF is charged in about 20msec. this means an efficiency of less than 1%.
when the output voltage is about 1.2V, the LTC switches over it's operation and the output is then quickly charged to 1.6V.
the cell is heaviliy challenenged during this episode, and cannot always deliver the current needed.
still the chip behavior is not as claimed by the datasheet or simulation.
