Hello, ADI team.
The data sheet specifies that the Overcurrent voltage threshold Vis(max) = 300mV.
My question is: What is the tolerance to narrow pulses on the "IS" waveform e.g. noise spikes that can easily be much higher than 300mV?
I can't find any such information in the data sheet.
For example, see the screenshot of the "IS" pin below. The peak "steady-state" voltage of the waveform is approx. 142mV. But look at the noise spikes at the start of the falling edge. If they were more than 300mV, what would be the maximum width that these spikes could be without triggering the OverCurrent fault condition?
Thanks.
