Single Inductor Multiple Outputs (3 SIMO Channels), short circuit the Ouputs to decrease the ripple.

Question

The MAX17270/MAX17271 has 3 channels, each set to the identical voltage (e.g., 1.2V), and then connecting (short-circuit) them to reduce the ripple. 
 Could this configuration damage the part? or Could the part work properly under this configuration? 
 Please, could you help me with this?

Hi, that's not a recommended use case. 
 Connecting the output to another power supply is safe, and is one of the recommended topologies when an output is unused (see Unused Outputs 2), p.34 of the datasheet ). 
 However, I'm not sure the device will work properly or solve your ripple concerns.
