20W PSR Isolated Flyback Controller

Category: Hardware

I am developing a SiC MOSFET gate drive board and I need to put a DC supply on it to power the gate drive chip.  I was looking into using an isolated flyback DC-DC converter for this.  I want primary side regulation with no opto coupler. The input is 24VDC and I need it to run two different loads - not at the same time - these would be 2 different gate cards.  Both loads would be 20W but one is at 19VDC and the other is at 24VDC.  There are so many controllers and I don't know which one would be more suitable.  I was looking at the LT3748 but it seems pretty complicated.  Is there a flyback setup calculation tool available (similar to what TI has? And maybe a demo board that I could modify to get the output that I need so I can test the chip?

ADI help would be appreciated.  Thank you - John
