I am wondering why the CDFILT values have not been calculated based on the formula [25] in the datasheet for four different designs on pages 31-34 and 36. The value calculated from the formula on page [25] for the design on page 31 is 11.37nF, on page 32 is 7.09nF, on page 33 is 6.4nF, on page 34 is 3.03nF, and on page 36 it is 6.7nF. However, they are selected as follows: 4.7nF, 10nF, 2.2nF, 2.2nF, and 3.9nF respectively. I am wondering if the reason that I see SS in my current mode of regulation isolated via an optocouplermost of the time when there is no load or when different loads are attached, is because the ramp voltage plus some switch current feedback has exceeded the DFILT voltage at the wrong timing.
I have used formula and the result is 1.75 nF and I have selected 1 nF.
