    Hello,
    

    

    I was wondering if there is a MAX capacitance that LTC3226  is able to handle? I saw max charge current. Would it handle 2x in series 100F each supercapacitors? The charge time doesn't need to be quick.

        Hello there! Unfortunately, the LTC3226 doesn't specify a maximum capacitance limit, but does provide for maximum charge current limits. As long as total charge current of two 100F supercapacitors in series doesn't surpass this maximum charge current limit of the LTC3226 it should be fine; just bear in mind that charging time may become slower with larger capacitance values.
