Ltc4162-L programmed registers

Hello,

I plan to use the ltc4162-LAD to charge a battery at 4,1V.

does the registers are read at the user programmed values when VIN > 4,5V ? Does the MCU need to program the register at each boot.

Also i need to limit the charging current to 100mA max so i have to use a 0,6 ohms for the RSNSB resistor. Is it ok ?
