Input Voltage(VBIAS) of ADP5055

Category: Hardware
Product Number: ADP5055

Hi there,

I'm going to use the ADP5055. Our specification of power circuit are "input 5V, output 3.3V ". I know that the VBIAS request up to 4.5V.

 Q) Is it okay to tie between the PVIN pin and VBIAS pin. And then, Can these pins apply power of 5V?

Hello,

It is ok to tie together. Vbias request a MINIMUM of 4.5V, not up to 4.5V. It has a max rating of 18V so your 5V input should be fine.

  • Hello Jhun,

     Thank you replying.

fast of all, I made a mistake English. I'm sorry(up to).

I 'd like to reconfirm, the VBIAS pin voltage is more than min4.5V right?
Therefore, It's Ok if it's connect "VBIA and PVIN" to apply 5V right?
