It may be good to try and get hold of the demoboard as a reference board to easily debug your design to isolate the suspected internal short circuit problem.

in the meantime our assembler has replaced the LTM8003 with a new one. We have received the desoldered LTM8003 back for inspection. Since the two desoldered LTM8003s showed the previously described short circuit between the FB signal and the Vout signal, the fault could be clearly traced back to damage in the LTM8003.

We will continue to monitor the problem. Please contact me if you have any further suggestions or if you want to have the defective components sent for inspection.
