Product Number: LT3473
I'm planning to use the LT3473 to boost from 3.5v to 5.5v with 0.65A output current. How do I calculate the recommended current rating for the inductor? I'm using the LT3494 for another part of the design and that datasheet describes how to calculate the peak inductor current like this:
Is there an equivalent equation for the LT3473?
Also, regarding the efficiency plot in Figure 3 of the LT3473 datasheet, the efficiency is plotted vs. "Lead Current". Is Lead Current different than the output current? If so, how do I calculate that value?
