I would suggest getting hold of the demo board DC1817B and make the necessary changes from there just to be sure. It is good to have a working reference board when debugging. Let me know if the problem still persists.

Hello, Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately we don't have much time to perform some tests on the demo board. The output voltage does not reach the desired value and the mosfet continues to break the VDS voltage does not exceed the maximum Mosfet drain voltage. Do you have any suggestions, improvements of my schematic ? Thank you for your support.

The output voltage issue has been resolved. Now I have another issue which is about the output current control.

I m using the LT3798 to drive LEDs (80 leds in series) and I want to have an output current regulated of 800mA.

The problem is that the current is very disturbed and dont reach 800mA. The output current is the blue channel.

Rsense = 15mohms, Rctrl resistors have been choosen to get more than 800mA.  

Do you have any idea to resolve this important issue ?
