ADM6320 4-Pad Dimension on Ultra Librarian

Category: Hardware
Product Number: ADM6320CZ29ARJZ

Hi,

When I looked at "4_Pad Dimensions" of ADM6320 using Ultra Librarian tool, there is no dimension data as shown in the attached below. So, Is it possible to add the dimensions in the View of "4_Pad Dimensions?

To give the dimension information to customers as soon as possible, without waiting for dimension information to be updated, The package type of ADM6320 is SOT-23(RJ-5). I checked other parts which has the same package on the Ultra Librarian tool. For example, LT1617 is SOT-23 package.  The dimension information is described in the view of "4_Pad Dimensions" as shown in the attached below.

I think that the pad dimension of the device on PCB is the same as the part which has the same package type. So, is it ok to answer to the customer that the pad dimensions of the ADM6320 is the same as the pad dimensions of the LT1617 which has the same package?

Thanks,
Makoto

  • Hello Makoto,

It would be helpful if you could refer the dimension on this part, see attached below

I'm still in the process of confirming if the pad dimensions of ADM6320 and LT1617 are same. Since the package dimension of LT1617 is different with ADM6320, as seen below

I will get back to you once I get an answer.

    Thank you

  • Hello Makoto,

The pad dimensions for ADM6320 and LT1617 are not the same.

The tool automatically generate the symbol depending on the template and the package dimension indicated. In this case, they have different package dimensions, therefore the pad dimensions generated is different.

It will take more time to add the dimensions on the "4_Pad Dimensions", but for the meantime, please refer on the default padstyle indicated on the ultra librarian tool.

    Thank you

  • Hi,

Thank you for your reply! For your suggestion that we can refer the "Default Padstyle" in the default view, what does the "RX58Y22D0T" mean? Could you let me how to understand the pad dimensions from the default padstyle of "RX58Y22D0T"? Is this padstyle number only for the Ultra Librarian tool...?

    Thanks,
    Makoto

  • Hello Makoto,

I provided the pad dimensions for ADM6320 on the attached file. You can refer to it for the meantime while we wait for the official release in bxl file. For your reference, the Delta X and Delta Y values gives the pad dimensions in mil units.

I downloaded a file from ECAD models with Cadence format and use that tool to measure the dimensions.

    Thank you.

  • Hi,

Thank you for your kind response and your measurement of the pad dimension! It will be helpful to refer it for the customer's product development.

    Thanks,
