Hi team,
Isn't the soft start reset if the output is shorted to GND?
Will not there be an inrush current when recovering from shorted to GND in a short time?

Hi T-yoshi,
Apologies for late response.
1. Isn't the soft start reset if the output is shorted to GND?
ANS: There is no soft start reset if the output is recovering after short is removed.
2. Will not there be an inrush current when recovering from shorted to GND in a short time?
ANS: Please refer to Short-Circuit Response TOC in Page 6 of LTC3122 datasheet. There is no in-rush current. However, the part draws limited current from the input to charge the output capacitors as fast as possible.
