LTM8024 (DC1868A) small voltage dip after startup

Category: Hardware
Product Number: LTM8024

I'm DFAE in Japan.

My customer start evaluating LTM8024 using DC1868A in the force continuous mode operation.

He uses DC1868A with JP1 setting to NON BURST.

He found the small dips(about 100mV) in both 5V and 3,3V  regulated output after the start up.

Would you inform me what happened and how can he fix this problem?

I attach the oscilloscope shot(green is VIN, yellow is 5V output, blue is 3.3V output)

The slight dip may be related to operation mode transition (for light load). This dip should not cause a problem for typical applications. You may try burst mode (ground SYNC pin), and the dip may go away.

Thanks.
