LTC4366 with parallel FETs?

I'm designing a new circuit with the LTC4366 and having trouble finding a suitable, in-stock FET that can meet my SOA needs during a surge.  Is it possible to use two FETs in parallel with this device?  During normal (non-surge) operation will they naturally balance current based on heating?  During surges will the control loop for the 4366 be able to handle multiple FETs or will it lead to instability?  I'm not too concerned with having tight regulation during a surge.

    LTC4366 should be able to drive two FETs in parallel. Pick a low Qg FET to lower the load for the IC to drive since you're driving multiple MOSFETs.

    Yes. This is correct. As long as you follow the datasheet recommendation, this should be fine.
