Hi,
I want to develop a power supply circuit using the LT8357.
The output voltage is 5Vdc with a maximum output current of 2.5A.
The input voltage is always above 8V but during start-up it could drop to 3V for about 20msec.
So I was thinking of using the LT8357 in sepic configuration even if 99% of the time it will always work in buck mode.
Is there an excel to perform all the necessary calculations?
Regards
Robert
Hi Robert,
There is no excel file for the necessary calculations as of yet. You can refer to the datasheet for the design application starting on page 23.

Hi Jhun
I saw that I could use the LTpowercad tool to calculate the circuit.
Unfortunately, it only allows me to use it for "SEPIC not L-Couperd".
If I select "SEPIC Couped L" I get this error.
is there a solution?
I have already tried to update with SYNC/RELEASE.
