Hi,
I am currently testing ADM1818 RST pin Output. RST should be high if VCC is above the reset threshold.
However, RST become low when bypass cap 100nF is added in RST I/O.
I created the equivalent circuit like following for test:
The result is same and doesn't work. Remain low. It suggest the issue from ADM1818 circuit
ADM1818 built-in 5.5K. Vcc = 3.3V Assume voltage only reach VIH is 2.7V.
Pull up current = (Vcc – VIH) / pull up resistor = 100uA, with ADM1818 built-in 5.5K.
100uA should be sufficient for driving the bypass cap 100nF.
Might I know what is the cause of this issue?
