LTC4125 Closed loop operation

Hi,

I've read the very interesting technical article "Close the Loop Between Wireless Charger Receiver and Transmitter Without Digital Controllers" ( https://www.analog.com/media/en/technical-documentation/tech-articles/close-the-loop-between-wireless-charger-receiver-and-transmitter-without-digital-controllers.pdf ), but I have some remaining questions.

I would like to use the LTC4125 in combination with the LTC4124 for a 100mA/50mA charging solution, so the article is a nice fit. I am wondering however, is there still use for the connections to the IS- and IS+ pins? As far as I understand, current limiting is overridden by the 1.0V on IMON, or am I missing something? I would like to make sure my solution stays below 400mA of current consumption.

Is the heavy decoupling on IN2 also still recommended, as that half-bridge is not used?
