Hi,
Our design uses LTC4212 for 3.3V ORing.
Current Rating: 4A (max)
Following MOSFET has been chosen for the design: Si6423ADQ / Vishay
Pl let us know if this MOSFET is good enough for the application?

Hi,
Are you sure that you have the right part numbers?
The LTC4212 is a Hot Swap controller that requires an N channel MOSFET.
The Si6423ADQ is a P Channel MOSFET

Hi JayBee,
Apologies for the wrong PN. Correct PN is: LTC4412.

Pons,
Based on this graph from the MOSFET datasheet:
And the RDSon, the Si6423adq is a suitable MOSFET.
The forward voltage drop of the ideal diode will be around 60mV.

Thanks JayBee for the analysis & confirmation.
