I'm in a need of battery management IC with telemetry, that can support 12V output voltage and is rated for 2A output current. The backup is provided by 1 cell LiFePO4 cell, so the IC needs to provide boosted battery output. In current device, client is using LTC4040. With a new device we have higher voltage rail requirement (12V) and we need telemetry. In case of the LTC4040, the battery boost operation is clearly stated. As the datasheet for the LTC4162-F does not does not advertise this functionality, it seems that the part does not support it(although the switching block could support it), can you pleas confirm it? And if yes, can you support suitable part from AD portfolio? Thank you.
