I have troubling problem of temperature.
I design 3 prototypes with the 2 LT8645S-2 on each card.
With proto 1 and 2, I don't have problem.
With the proto 3, the track between SW and the inductor heat until 120°C at 20 °C ambient for the 2 composants.
Its design is very close of the second : same disposal of composant with some millimeter of difference.
I work with same features than proto 1 and 2 : Vin = 15V and Vout = 11V L= 5.6 uH Cout = 2 * 47 uH; f = 1 MHz
only length of the track SW -> inductor differs : for proto 2 : 18.2 mm and 16.5 mm and for proto 3 : 15.7 mm and 14.7 mm respectively.
Some one have any answer please?
